Our Pastor
Pastor Derrick Torrey
Pastor Torrey assumed the pastorate of Antioch Apostolic Church in January 2008. Prior to coming to Toledo, he pastored Faith Apostolic in Cornwall, Canada. Pastor Torrey is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Technology and a Master of Industrial Technology. He worked for several major corporations in the field of engineering and retired with 48 years of service.
First Lady Sister Catherine Torrey
Catherine is a native of Jamaica. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and Master of Education from Bowling Green State University. She taught in the public school systems in Ohio and New York for 27 years.
Our Church
Welcome to Antioch Apostolic Church. We are a Bible-based church that preaches the Apostolic doctrine that was delivered on the day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2. The scripture teaches us that every believer has a past and every newcomer has the opportunity for a bright and promising future in Jesus Christ. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new (Revelation 21:5).
